Sister Karen Scott:

I am so thankful for the Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe with my whole heart that He is our Savior and Redeemer. I love Him and want to serve Him. I am truly grateful for my membership in His church. My faith in the Savior gives purpose to my life that helps me try daily to be my best and to wake up every morning seeking His will for my day. I love the organization of the Relief Society. I believe this is a divinely inspired program and I am honored to be a part of this work. I believe we come to know Jesus Christ as we serve each other, as we pray and as we listen to His voice through the precious scriptures. My testimony continues to grow as I practice these principles in my life.

Sister Melissa Smith:

Sisters, I have learned through sacred personal experiences that Jesus is the Christ.  I have learned to pray and to listen to His voice through thoughts and impressions, searching the scriptures of prophets living and past, and His called servants.  I deeply feel the music of the gospel embrace me as I seek to keep the commandments and walk the covenant path and through each person I meet along my journey.   He is my Savior.  He is my Hope.  YOU are my cherished sisters, my companions, my friends.  How I love the Lord and how I love and desire to lift you.

President Nelson said in his Oct 2021 conference address entitled “The Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation,”

The temple lies at the center of strengthening our faith and spiritual fortitude because the Savior and His doctrine are the very heart of the temple. Everything taught in the temple, through instruction and through the Spirit, increases our understanding of Jesus Christ. His essential ordinances bind us to Him through sacred priesthood covenants. Then, as we keep our covenants, He endows us with His healing, strengthening power. And oh, how we will need His power in the days ahead.

So I ask each of you, how firm is your foundation? And what reinforcements to your testimony and understanding of the gospel are needed?

Please believe me when I say that when your spiritual foundation is built solidly upon Jesus Christ, you have no need to fear. As you are true to your covenants made in the temple, you will be strengthened by His power. Then, when spiritual earthquakes occur, you will be able to stand strong because your spiritual foundation is solid and immovable.

As a Stake Relief Society Presidency, these are our goals to build a strong spiritual foundation.
